How to Access
Finding the right support starts here

We understand that knowing where to start can sometimes feel overwhelming.

Whether you're a parent or carer, school, local authority or another professional, we're here to help you understand which of our services may be right for the child or young person you are supporting.
Who can access our services?
Our services may be accessed through a number of routes, depending on the type of support required.
This can include:

Parents and carers
You can contact us directly to discuss your child's needs and find out more about the support available.
Schools and education settings
Schools and other educational settings can contact us to discuss support for a child or young person.
Local authorities
We work with local authorities and education teams to provide appropriate support where required.
Other professionals
Professionals involved in a child's care or support can contact us to discuss an appropriate referral.
What happens next?
1. Get in touch
Contact our team to tell us a little about the child, young person or adult and the support you are looking for.
2. We'll talk through your needs
We'll discuss the circumstances, understand what support is needed and explain which service may be most appropriate.
3. Referral and assessment
Where appropriate, we'll guide you through the referral process and let you know what information we need.
For some services, an initial assessment or consultation may be required before support begins.
4. Support begins
Once the appropriate service has been agreed, we'll work with you to arrange the next steps and develop support around the individual needs of the child or young person.
